Aljada Central Hub Phase 3 is an upcoming major shopping and entertainment destination, centrally located in the Aljada community in the Emirate of Sharjah. This elliptical building which houses several commercial, retail, recreational, and entertainment experiential space anticipated to generate over 6,000 vehicular trips during the evening peak hour on the weekend.

VNC was commissioned to undertake a Traffic Impact Study in accordance with the Sharjah Transport Model Suite (STMS). Travel demand modelling for three horizon years was developed to forecast the Central Hub’s traffic from six (6) access points on the adjacent roads. Traffic operational assessment was performed for the junctions adjoining the shopping center and appropriate network mitigations were proposed for the ultimate year.
